Ashton Place is a new home community located 3/10 of a mile from one of the targeted commercial intersections in Leland's long range planning. Until that time conveniences are found in most any direction. The 74/76 side of Lanvale Road has a small shopping center with a Food Lion grocery store and many other conveniences. Just a minutes down the road on Highway 17 is a new Wal-Mart and Harris Teeter supermarket as well as numerous drug stores and food outlets.

Of course, Historic Wilmington is simply minutes away and offers all the comforts of a small southern community as well as the conveniences and entertainment sources found in a large city.

From Wilmington on Hwy 17/74, take the first Leland Exit. At the light, turn right onto Village Road and proceed to the second stop light. Turn left onto Olde Fayetteville Road. Follow for 2.8 miles and Ashton Place will be on the left.
